Buckley C. Hazen Award

During the 1983 Grand Lodge session, Most Worshipful Brother Charles S. Moulthrop, Jr., Grand Master of Michigan (one of the four Grand Masters that helped in constituting the Grand Lodge of Alaska presented Most Worshipful Brother James A. Williams with two plaques.

The second plaque was named in honor of Alaska’s second Grand Master of Alaska, M.W.Bro. Buckley C. Hazen. This plaque is is awarded to the lodge with the largest growth by percentage of membership during the previous year. Percentage is used to keep the competition equal among the smaller and larger lodges.
