
K. Michael Hoskin was elected and installed as Junior Grand Warden on February 4, 2022.
Prior to his installation as Junior Grand Warden, Michael served the Grand Lodge of Alaska as District Deputy to the Grand Master for District 2 in 2021.
Michael was raised a Master Mason on February 5, 1987 at Las Palmas Lodge No. 366 in Fresno, CA and became a life member in Kenai Lodge No. 11 on November 10, 2020. He served that lodge as Worshipful Master in 2020. With the encouragement and active participation of the brethren that year, the Lodge received the Grand Master’s Award of Excellence.
In addition to his Grand Lodge and Blue Lodge labors, Michael is a life member of the Alaska
York Rite and Al Aska Shrine Temple, a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Anchorage, and life member of the Kenai Soldotna Shrine Club. In 2017 he became the first President of the Al Aska Shrine Football Classic Unit and supports this annual Al
Aska Shrine fund raising event.
Michael retired in 2014 after more than 36 years in the Department of Defense attaining the grade of GS-15/NH-04. He was awarded the Career Lifetime Achievement Award from Vice Admiral Syring, Commander, Missile Defense Agency. He is also a graduate of the US Army War College, Class of 2003 with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies and holds an MBA in International Business from Regis University in Colorado.
